Dealing with difficult situations and lies is an important aspect of scoring well in golf.

In this format you can learn quite a bit about keeping your cool because you will hit many shots of different varieties.

Shots that you probably do not practice very often.

So here are the rules: You can play this one alone, but in teams of two or three it makes the most sense.

If you play alone, you play with 2 or 3 balls.

In teams each team member plays with his own ball.

After teeing off the worst of the tee balls is chosen by the opposite team, and that is where the second shot is played.

The worst of the second shots is chosen, and the third stroke is played from that location; and so on, until the ball is holed.

The first team member marks the location of the ball with a tee or a coin, so that the other players know where to put their ball.

You do this all the way through from teeing off until the last putt was made.

You will be in a lot of trouble. So if you have to take a drop, think hard and do so.

Because you might be looking for balls and will probably be slower than normal, try this format only when your course is not crowded.

Otherwise do not be too proud to pick up your balls for good, if a hole is lost to the opposing game, and let other players play through, if you know you need some time.

It is all about the fun!

  • Play in teams or with multiple balls (if they let you!).
  • Your team always continues from the worst position (the opposing
    team chooses).
  • Do this all the way until the last putt is made.
  • Have fun!
